The Status Quo and Prospect of Sustainable Development of Smart Clothing

With the booming development of Internet and AI (Artificial Intelligence), smart clothing has emerged to meet consumers’ personalized needs in healthcare, work, entertainment, etc., rapidly become a hotspot industry research field. However, as gets popular, sustainability issues are becoming increasingly prominent during its circulation. To explore status quo sustainable clothing, from perspective chain, this paper discusses challenges raw material supply, design, manufacturing, storage, logistics recycling. Based on these characteristics future trend apparel industry, some countermeasures put forward three aspects: supply chain management.
